The King of Kings I

The Rise of a King

In 1st Samuel 16 we read that, “Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart”.

In The King of Kings I we are going to open the books of 1 and 2 Samuel and discover the rise of a king.

The story of David is one of humility, faith and love – but also pride, greed and lust - all interwoven through a series of unexpected turns, great victories, and a tragic fall.

Remarkably, The King of Kings I will not only take us into the courts of David, but provide a window to the true and perfect king that was to come.

To assist you throughout the series we have developed a Journal Guide to help you read, reflect, respond, and remember the relevant bible passages as we unpack the story of David.
